Jazmine - Landscape Photos

This photo was taken at Marine Park in Fairhaven. I chose this location because it overlooks the water and has nice scenery. I like how the sunshine reflects on the water and how clear the clouds look.

What I dislike about this photo is the angle. I wish I had gone closer to the water and angled my camera upwards to capture a photograph that resembled a landscape slightly more. Many landscape photographs that feature water can mirror their subject in the water and I wish I had done that instead of my camera being so high up.

I struggle with my photographs being too dark and overshadowing the subject. This photo is brighter than my previous ones, but I still would have liked for the trees and sand to the left to be more visible.

This photo was shot at Boulevard, also located in Fairhaven. I walked there for my second photograph location because of the higher elevation. I like the color palette in this photo, it all blends together nicely. However, I wish I had taken them during golden hour instead. The sunset would have nicely overlooked the boardwalk and again, would have captured more of a landscape vibe.

I captured this scene a few different times, with different zooms and apertures. I liked this scene when I zoomed in more but chose this photograph to capture more range. Although I do not think I like it as much. I decided to use this one as it captures the train tracks and the rocks to the right which gave the photograph more substance.

Although there are things I wish I had done differently, I am still pleased with the way my shots came out.
