Specimen Photographs


On our first photo outing, we walked through the Sehome Hill Arboretum and examined many mushrooms. I was delighted to see so many species still fruiting in January. Many species of fungi don't fruit in freezing weather, but our winter has been unseasonably warm. Here are a few colorful examples:
